Cambridge, MA – October 6, 2020

We are excited to announce our new strategic partnership with SciNote, a leading ELN provider. The combination of Elemental Machines’ wireless sensor network with SciNote’s ELN will allow customers to seamlessly gather data from their most important assets and environments. Sensors, like our Element-T can be used to monitor temperature from laboratory equipment such as freezers, refrigerators and incubators in real-time.  In addition to equipment monitoring, the Element-A can be used for ambient monitoring, including the ability to capture temperature, humidity, pressure and light.  When critical data is needed, the Element-D can connect to OEM instruments (balances, pH meters, Blood Gas Analyzers, etc.) to automate the collection of scientific data, metadata such as maintenance and calibration records, and critical performance and utilization metrics and automatically pipe it all to SciNote’s ELN. This best-in-class technology combination will allow users to affordably meet regulatory compliance goals, enhance data quality and scientific reproducibility.

“We are delighted to partner with  SciNote to integrate our Internet of Things network into their ELN,  providing customers with a continuous data record of their equipment and environment to enable regulatory compliance and operational oversight via alerting and monitoring to ultimately accelerate scientific discovery,” said Sridhar Iyengar, CEO and Founder of  Elemental Machines.

“To enable the scientific community to build upon research findings and tackle today’s global challenges, data needs to be collected in a systematic way, it needs to be interconnected with its sources and it needs to be stored in the unified fashion. Integrations between different platforms and solutions enable labs to save time, benefit from increased efficiency and manage their data in a traceable way. We believe there is a great potential in working with Elemental Machines to bring the concept of IoT in the labs,” Klemen Zupancic, CEO of SciNote LLC explained.

The Elemental Machines’ AI-powered platform gives laboratory personnel peace of mind that their valuable assets are protected, saves them time & improves the accuracy of their studies.  Instruments, facilities, and environments are monitored 24/7 for out of range conditions with all data automatically stored in the Cloud. This is especially critical for keeping laboratories in regulatory compliance with GxP, CLIA, and 21 CFR Part 11.

SciNote is a top-rated Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) for labs in industry and academia. It covers inventory, team, and project management in GxP, CFR21 part 11, R&D, and even academic teaching environments. Successful onboarding of all users in the lab, data protection, and IP ownership is their main priority. In large organizations, SciNote's API allows users to connect with their LIMS and similar systems. Transfer of data to SciNote is also possible,
