Passions: I love people and sports.  I’ve always loved running in races and doing team sports, because it’s healthy, it’s fun, and I’ve met so many amazing people!

 

What brought you to Elemental Machines, and why did you choose EM over all of your other options?

I have worked for software companies my entire career.  I was sold on EM during my interview to learn that our sales team could demo and get the system up and running very quickly without having assistance from another team. That is unheard of for most of the industries I worked in.  I knew that EM was delivering a system and service where prospects and customers could see the value instantly. That’s a gift!

 

How would you describe the team you work with?

Fantabulous!  Everyone has each other’s back no matter what hour it is!  I’m on the west coast and if it’s midnight on the east coast or 2 AM in the UK, my team is online and keeping this well-oiled machine of a company running!

 

What is it like to interface with Elemental Machines customers?

First of all, I love interfacing with our customers. Our customers have incredible responsibilities and they can be very overwhelmed managing so many critical assets that are essential to their business’ success.  They know my role is to ensure that they’re successful and that we’re delivering on what we promised.  I feel that my customers trust that I do everything I can to keep that promise.  I always prefer in person over Zoom, because they’re cool people to be around!

 

What has surprised you about working for EM?

How each team generates results so quickly and the energy is so high.  Everyone is motivated and things move very quickly!

 

How have you grown personally or professionally in your current role?

Absolutely.  My leadership team listens to me, gives me the tools I need to make me successful, and trusts me.  This has only improved my confidence and success in my role.

 

What skills would you say contribute most to your success?

I love people, I love being in front of prospects and customers to listen to their challenges and to be able show them how I can help solve their challenges.  I think the fact that I am professional and responsive to my customers builds credibility.  There is never a question mark on their end, they know I’m on it! I’m also pretty funny (I am!) - I enjoy making people laugh. I feel that builds trust.

 

What’s a day at Elemental that stands out in your mind?

My first customer visit. I was able to experience watching the delight on the customer’s face when the EM system was up and running in minutes.

 

What EM tools have been the most well-received by the customers you interact with?

Where do I start!  They love that we can connect to virtually any asset, and how our monitoring and alerting has literally prevented costly catastrophes of losing months of work.

 

What is your perspective of the future of Elemental Machines?

We’re going to crush it. I see each new employee (rockstar) generates results so quickly after coming onboard.  These results are also proof that there is big demand and EM is the best solution.
